La Piñata

Floral Design

For this piece I drew inspiration from my childhood. As a proper South American little boy, my favourite part of the birthday party was always the piñata, and the amazing surprises that came out of it.

An explosion of colour and fun.

In this design I wanted to provoke a feeling of fun, passion and rawness.

I went with a small variety of wild and colourful flowers, that would contrast and compliment the colours of the piñata, but never fighting against them.

As you can see, this design is full of texture, and this was an important aspect for the selection of the flowers.

To balance the composition I decided to go with a few stylish greenery. .
